Adoptions

We request all potential adopters to fill out our adoption application & meet all requirements, such as proper housing & enrichment setups. A current photo of your cage/breeding setup will be required prior to approval. 

We provide carriers for our rodents to come home in for a small fee.  You’re welcome to bring your own carrier as well, just let us know which option would work best for you!

All our rodents become available for adoption starting at 8 weeks of age. Female mice & rats are available in trios to those without a current colony and pairs to those with one. But you can always do more! Male mice are only adopted out solo & our Roboroski dwarf hamsters will be available as solo pets.

We currently meet at either the Wendy's on Ringgold Road in Chattanooga TN or the CVS on Battlefield Parkway in Ringgold GA. All other meet up locations will incur our current price per gallon transport fee. We are happy to transport within a 2-hour radius of Ringgold GA/Chattanooga TN! Ask for a quote! Chattanooga is located in the Eastern time zone; all pick up times will be eastern time unless otherwise stated.

We do ask that all rodents be picked up within 14 days of the deposit being paid. In the event that they are not picked up, we reserve the right to make them available for adoption again. If it will take longer than 14 days, a boarding fee per animal will be assessed and due prior to pick up. Special boarding arrangements can be made if you’d like to reserve further out.

A 50% nonrefundable deposit is due within 24 hours of receiving your invoice. This will reserve the rodents you have picked out. For local adopters and those using our transport, the balance is due at pick up. For those using a third-party transport service, the balance is due 3 days prior to the start of the transport. The nonrefundable deposit is only refundable if the issue is entirely on our end or - in regard to those traveling via a small animal transport - the transport cancels their run & no other transport can be used.

We accept Venmo (F&F), PayPal (F&F), CashApp & Zelle. If you would prefer to use Goods & Services for PayPal or Venmo 3% will be added to your total.

*Older rodents are 6 months plus. No other discounts or sales applied with older/retired mice/rats.

**Mystery rodents are completely chosen by us. No special requests are allowed (i.e. no pink/red eyes or specific varieties). We will choose a friendly group that are easy to tell apart. No special discounts applied outside of the discounted trio discount. Great option for pet adopters!
